Edmonton’s EcoAmmo Teams Up with Stok

Global real estate decarbonization specialist Stok has acquired Canadian award-winning sustainability consulting firm Eco Ammo.

Edmonton-based EcoAmmo consults on green building architecture, engineering and construction projects. The company says it worked on the first net-zero-energy commercial building, home and integrated project delivery developments in Western Canada.

Combining the companies’ teams will enable them to achieve their mission to accelerate the global energy transition, San Francisco-based Stok said in a news release.

EcoAmmo will be rebranded as Stok and continue to serve clients across Canada. Stephani Carter, EcoAmmo’s founder and owner, will join the Stok ownership group.

“Stok and EcoAmmo have known each other for years. Our integration is an organic evolution that furthers our ability to deliver innovative solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges across sustainability, [environmental and social governance], and decarbonization,” said Carter.

Founded in 2006, EcoAmmo has worked on about 300 high-performing sustainable building projects and 30 integrated project delivery projects across Canada.
