Egg Club Looking to Expand Nationally

Egg Club is looking to ramp up its restaurant count across Canada.

The Toronto-based breakfast specialist, recognized for its Japanese milk bread sandwiches, is preparing for its next phase of expansion, with new sites planned for 2026 and beyond. The company plans to extend its footprint through a franchising model.

Egg Clubis evaluating potential locations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa and throughout the Greater Toronto Area, targeting 10 additional eateries by the end of 2026 as part of Yu’s wider goal of eventually reaching 300 across the country.

“We started Egg Club with the simple goal of making great food accessible to everyone,” says Jason Yu, president and CEO of Egg Club. “Seeing how far we’ve come, from our first Toronto store to multiple locations across Ontario and Alberta, is incredibly rewarding. And we’re just getting started.”

The chain has broadened its reach in recent years, adding locations in Mississauga, Ont.; Waterloo, Ont.; Calgary and Ottawa as it grows beyond its home market.

“Our mission has always been about more than just serving sandwiches,” said Yu. “It’s about creating a space where people can enjoy delicious, freshly made meals that don’t break the bank. We’re proud to be building a brand that Canadians can feel good about.”
