EPIQ Opens New Head Office in Downtown Montreal

EPIQ Machinery has opened a new head office in downtown Montreal, located on the third floor of the historic Canada Cement building.

The new space marks a major milestone for the Canadian equipment manufacturer and will serve as its central hub, the company said. The space will house the company’s executive team, corporate functions, the EPIQ digital team (focused on industrial digitalization), and part of the EPIQ Mecfor team, which focuses on specialized vehicles. The Mecfor name stems from a previous company by that name, which was acquired by EPIQ through a merger.

EPIQ Machinery designs and builds heavy equipment and integrated solutions for industrial sectors around the world.

An inauguration ceremony was held recently. Attendees including representatives of majority shareholder SeaFort Capital, minority shareholders, employees, customers, and partners. Company leaders performed a traditional ribbon-cutting.

“This head office is the affirmation of our vision: to create an iconic Canadian brand in the heavy equipment industry,” declared Éloïse Harvey, the machinery firm’s CEO.

Over the past four years, EPIQ Machinery has more than doubled its sales and now employs 1,000 people worldwide.

Formed through a merger in 2021, EPIQ now includes eight business units across Canada, France, India, and Bahrain.

“After these years of strong growth, our priority is shifting towards operational excellence, which will be driven by three pillars: talent, processes, and technology,” added Yannick Beaulé, EPIQ’s chief revenue Officer.

The company also plans to strengthen its presence in Europe.
