Fitzrovia Expands into Quebec
Fitzrovia has expanded into Quebec through the acquisition of two Montreal rental apartment buildings.
The company announced that it has acquired Place Dorchester and Stanbrooke and will open its Montreal corporate office in 2024.
“Since 2017, we’ve been working in the Ontario market where we have established our community-based operating model. Now, we are proud to bring our award-winning platform to Quebec,” said Adrian Rocca, the company’s founder and CEO, in a news release. “Quebec, and in particular Montreal, is a significant growth market for Fitzrovia.”
Originally constructed in 1970, Place Dorchester features 215 rental units on 17 residential residential floors. The building is located in the Shaughnessy Village area.
Stanbrooke, developed in 2018, is located downtown. The 19-storey purpose-built apartment building contains 178 units.
Fitzrovia develops, owns and manages purpose-built rental apartments. The firm has approximately 8,500 units under development in the Greater Toronto Area.
