Four Seasons Plans to Develop Luxury Hotel, Residences in Charleston

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Strategic Property Partners, plans to build a luxury hotel and residential project in Charleston, S.C.’s historic district. The eight-storey development will include 139 guest rooms and 36 branded residences and is scheduled for completion in 2028.

The hotel will feature four restaurants and bar, an outdoor pool, private cabanas and 7,000 square feet of event space for special occasions and corporate meetings. Guests will also have access to a full-service spa.

Located within walking distance of popular cultural sites such as King Street and the Gibbes Museum of Art, the new-build aims to blend Charleston’s historic charm with the modern hospitality experience associated with Four Seasons.

Amenities will include four dining venues, a full-service spa, a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and 650 square metres of event space. Residences will offer private entrances, housekeeping, concierge services, and access to hotel facilities. Floor plans range from 2,000 to 3,700 square feet, with pricing starting at US $5 million.

The project is being designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, with interiors by Lark Design Studio and landscaping by Hollander Design. The development is intended to reflect Charleston’s heritage while providing a high-end lifestyle experience.
