Global Construction Leader VINCI Acquires Technigaz

VINCI Energies announced that it has acquired Technigaz, a Bécancour, Que.-based manufacturing firm specializing in combustion systems and industrial services.

Bécancour is a Montreal suburb and home to many induistria facilities.

Founded in 1994, Technigaz provides control and combustion systems for natural gas, propane, oxygen, and hydrogen, along with industrial electrical maintenance and modernization, piping fabrication and installation, and end-to-end automation services from design through commissioning.

France-based VINCI Energies said the acquisition strengthens its industrial solutions offering in Quebec and establishes a foothold near one of the province’s largest industrial and port hubs. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Technigaz’s integration is expected to enhance VINCI Energies’ ability to deliver multidisciplinary solutions across energy, infrastructure, and industrial processes in the region, said VINCI.
