Grant Thornton Leases 30,000 SF in Vancouver Centre II

Grant Thornton has leased 30,000 square feet of space in the Vancouver Centre II office tower.

The leading Canadian accounting firm will occupy the year-old downtown LEED Platinum building’s 19th and 20th floors.

“We’re creating a modern and functional space that will meet the needs of our growing team now and into the future,” said Adam Creen, senior manager of national real estate for Toronto-based Grant Thornton, in a news release.

Grant Thornton joins other recent tenant additions Pan American Silver (30,175 sf) and Transca Real Estate Development (4,286 sf) at award-winning Vancouver Centre II.

Located at 733 Seymour Street, the building is now 82% leased, said GWL Realty Advisors, which manages the Vancouver Centre II project on behalf of its owners. The development has attracted tenants from a variety of industries, including business consulting, real estate mining and technology.

Grant Thornton, Pan American Silver and Transca have joined existing tenants Kabam Games, Owen Bird Law Corporation, Sandstorm Gold and TSX Venture Exchange. In addition to earning LEED Platinum certification, the building captured 2023 Realcomm IBCon’s Digie Award for the Most Intelligent Office Building in 2023.

Vancouver Centre II has also been certified as SmartScore Platinum and WiredScore Gold, verifying that the property has today’s advanced technology and the capacity to upgrade to meet future needs, said GWLRA.

The building sits near Canada Line and SkyTrain stations.
