Groupe HD Expands into Private Seniors Housing

Groupe HD has launched a new seniors-housing development division after devoting the past five years to condominium and multi-family rental projects.

Montreal-based HD said five projects are already in the planning stages. The company intends to collaborate with experienced operators and owners in the seniors-residence sector to oversee the management and operations of its new communities.

With this new business line, we are broadening our scope to meet a pressing and very real need, while upholding the quality standards that already define our real estate projects,” said Thomas Dufour, co-president of Groupe HD.

The firm said its first five planned projects underscore a strong commitment to enhancing seniors housing.
