Guiker Acquires Fractional Investment Firm Willow.ca

Solutions Guiker has acquired fractional commercial real estate investment company Willow.ca.

“Guiker’s acquisition of Willow.ca signals a pivotal shift in the real estate industry, merging Willow’s security expertise and extensive user base with Guiker’s vast network of renters and landlords,” said Montreal-based Guiker in a news release. “This integration allows Guiker to introduce fractional ownership in rental properties, significantly widening access to real estate investment.”

Toronto-based Willow’s portfolio includes apartments, office buildings, shopping centres and other assets.

Founded seven years ago, Guiker’s core rental platform streamlines the leasing process by connecting property investors with quality tenants in key urban areas such as Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, and Boston, says the company. The technology-driven approach reduces vacancy rates and optimizes rental efficiency, Guiker adds.

“With the acquisition of Willow.ca, we can transform rental activity into investment opportunities, driving up [return on investment] as our user base continues to expand,” said Nan Hao, Guiker’s CEO, in the news release.

Logan Yergens, Willow’s founder and CEO, will remain a senior officer within Guiker.
