GWLRA Assumes Telus Sky Management, Leasing Responsibilities

GWL Realty Advisors has been awarded the property management and leasing mandate for the massive Telus Sky mixed-use office tower in downtown Calgary.

“We are incredibly excited to be collaborating with Telus on this project,” said Andrew Baird, GWLRA’s vice-president of leasing. “We look forward to working on such an iconic building in the Calgary Downtown.”

Completed in 2019, 60-storey Telus Sky building contains 450,000 square feet of commercial space in 28 storeys. The property includes residential spaces.

GWLRA announced that it will the tower’s leasing and operational activities, which includes Telus regional offices and tenants from the technology and financial sectors.

Telus Sky’s notable features include of TELUS Sky include LEED Platinum certification, operable windows with 100% fresh air supply, expansive approximately 10-foot windows for ample natural light, a modern raised floor for seamless network connectivity, tenant fitness and conference centres, and the Northern Lights public art display on the exterior façade created by artist Douglas Coupland.

Telus co-owns the tower, holding 100% of the commercial space, with Westbank and Allied REIT.
