Halifax and West Community Council Approves 18-Building Mixed-Use Residential Project

The Halifax and West Community Council has approved the 3,830-unit Regency Links mixed-use residential project, CBC reported.

Located in the city’s Clayton Parks West area, the development plan calls for the units to be built across 18 buildings that range in size between 16 to 28 storeys.

Well-known local developer Joe Rama’s Septra Incorporated is developing the project, which will include some townhome-style units, along with spaces for business and restaurants, on the ground floor.

The city has also agreed to connect Lacewood Drive and Washmill Drive as part of the development, according to CBC.

Ramia also heads his family-owned Rank Group.
