Harland Navigates CMHC Lending Requirements

As the vice-president of debt and structural finance in CBRE’s Calgary office, Jessica Harland has financed approximately $6 billion in Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation-insured loans across Canada.

She has specialized in CMHC-insured financing for multi-unit rental residential properties since joining CBRE in 2018 from that federal mortgage and housing corporation, where she had most recently managed client relations in its Prairies region multi-unit underwriting segment.

Having gained more than two decades of commercial real estate, banking and finance experience, she is known for her expertise in navigating CMHC lending requirements, strong leadership and excellent communication skills. At CBRE, she has built a market-leading team.

Prior to joining CBRE and CMHC, she served as a senior credit officer and senior personal banking representative with First Calgary Financial.

She is licensed as a broker of record in Alberta and a mortgage associate in B.C.
