High Tide to Open Fourth Mississauga Canna Cabana Store

High Tide will continue its aggressive Greater Toronto Area expansion effort Thursday with the opening of a new Canna Cabana store in Mississauga, Ont.

The new store will be located in First Capital’s Tomken Plaza power centre at 925 Rathburn Road East in Mississauga, High Tide announced in a news release. The outlet will be High Tide’s fourth Canna Cabana outlet in Mississauga, 58th in Ontario and 167th in Canada.

The cannabis retailer opened its 11th Toronto location earlier this month.

“The coming months are brimming with more exciting Canna Cabana store openings as we look to continue our growth trajectory in Mississauga and beyond, eventually reaching 300 stores across Canada and our long-term objective to achieve 15% market share in the provinces where we operate,” said Raj Grover, Calgary-based High Tide’s founder and CEO.

High Tide is Canada’s largest non-franchised cannabis retailer, operating stores in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba as well as Ontario. The company is also looking at possible moves into the U.S. and Europe as part of a global growth effort.
