Highlight Motor Group Breaks Ground on $250M HQ Outside GTA

Trucking and logistics firm Highlight Motor Group has launched construction on its new headquarters in Bradford, Ont.

The headquarters, which broke ground recently, will contain 1.1 million square feet of office and warehouse space, HMG said in a Facebook post. Located next to Highway 400, the 100-acre property will include a 350,000-square-foot warehouse, according to a Bradford news release. Multiple media reports have pegged the value of the investment at $250 million.

The project will generate 2,000 jobs, HMG said in the Facebook post.

Bradford is located about 40 kilometres outside of the Greater Toronto Area. HMG is moving its headquarters from Vaughan, which is located inside the GTA.

The move positions HMG between the GTA and locations to the north. HMG also operates facilities in Parsippany, N.J., Aurora, Ill., and Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
