Hines is close to finalizing the delivery of a new 531-unit rental apartment building to the Calgary marketplace.

Hines Celebrates Opening of Calgary’s Two Park Central

Hines has officially opened its new 531-unit Two Park Central rental- apartment building in Calgary’s Beltline district.

The 40-storey tower’s opening marked the completion of Hines’ Park Central master plan, which includes One Park Central and the Park Central Promenade and Walk. The Beltline is located just off downtown near the Stampede grounds.

Residents began to occupy Two Park Cenral in the spring. The initial occupancy was made possible through the delivery of the development’s podium, which contains 118 of the 531 suites.

Two Park Central includes about 5,100 square feet of street-level retail space.

Houston-based Hines developed Two Park Central through the firm’s Canadian subsidiary. Hines is also managing the property.

Mississauga, Ont.-based EllisDon served as the general contractor. Chicago-based architecture firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz designed the project, and Calgary-based GGA-Architecture was the architect of record.

The Beltline is an older district that has seen considerable redevelopment in recent years with more expected.
