IKEA Canada intends to open a third plan and order location in the Greater Montreal Area.

IKEA Expanding Quebec Footprint into Gatineau

IKEA Canada will open a new plan and order location in Gatineau, Que.. in 2026.

The global furniture retailer announced that it will open the new store at 1100 Boulevard Maloney Ouest (West Maloney Boulevard), further expanding its Quebec footprint.

IKEA’s plan and order points are part of the company’s effort to enhance the omnichannel shopping experience. The points are service-based spaces where customers can get help from an IKEA specialist to plan complex purchases for future home delivery or pick-up off site, according to the company.

“After seeing such a positive response to IKEA plan and order points in other regions of Quebec, we’re thrilled to bring this unique format to Gatineau and support the many Outaouais residents in creating a better everyday life at home through beautiful, functional, and sustainable home furnishings that fit their budget,” said Amadou Diop, IKEA Canation’s market area manager for its east market.

The new store will be IKEA’s 13th location in Quebec.
