IKEA Launches New Plan and Order Point Store in Gatineau
IKEA Canada has opened a new plan and order location in Gatineau, Que.
The furniture retailer launched at 1100 Boulevard Maloney Ouest (West Maloney Boulevard), further expanding its Quebec footprint.
“Gatineau is a growing and vibrant community with diverse housing needs,” said Ginette Pion, shopkeeper at the IKEA Gatineau Plan and Order Point. “We believe that this plan and order point will support local residents in all stages of their lives. Whether it’s small-space living, living with children, or renovation planning, we’re here to help customers in the Outaouais and National Capital regions create a better everyday life at home.”
IKEA’s plan and order points are part of the company’s effort to enhance the omnichannel shopping experience. The points are service-based spaces where customers can get help from an IKEA specialist to plan complex purchases for future home delivery or pick-up off site, according to the company.
The new store is IKEA’s 13th location in Quebec.
