IWG Opens New Co-working Centre in Fredericton
International Workplace Group has opened a new Regus co-working centre in downtown Fredericton, N.B., through a partnership agreement with the owner of Westmorland Place.
Located at 82 Westmorland Street, the new 10,000-square-foot workspace occupies the second floor of the office building and includes co-working space, private offices and meeting rooms aimed at established firms, small businesses and professionals in sectors such as law, engineering and financial services. It marks the first IWG workplace in Fredericton and follows the company’s entry into the New Brunswick market in 2025 with two Moncton locations.
Situated at the corner of Westmorland and Queen streets, the building is one of Fredericton’s most energy-efficient office properties and has a long-standing presence in the city, according to IWG.
“Joining the Regus network connects our prestigious office space with IWG’s global platform, giving us access to a strong customer base that includes major corporations looking for premium workspaces in prime locations across Canada,” said Anil Virmani, owner of Westmorland Place. “We offer downtown office solutions that give large firms, small businesses and professionals the freedom to scale their space as needed, with room to grow over time.”
IWG said the partnership allows the building owner to tap into growing demand for flexible office space while gaining access to the company’s sales, marketing and operational platform.
Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of International Workplace Group PLC, said the company is establishing “a stronger and much-needed footprint in New Brunswick. He called Fredericton “a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans.”
“We are very pleased to work in partnership with the building owner under a management agreement that brings our network of customers, including the majority of Fortune 500 companies that leverage our network of workspaces, along with our sales and marketing capabilities,” he said.
“Our opening in Fredericton comes at a time when flexible and platform working is becoming increasingly popular, providing a multitude of benefits to companies. Our workplace model allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs while providing access to over 160 locations in Canada and thousands worldwide.”
IWG said its global network now includes more than one million rooms in 121 countries, following a record year of expansion in 2025 in which it signed 1,132 new locations.
Zug, Switzerland-based IWG is a global provider of flexible workspace solutions operating brands including Regus, Spaces, HQ and Signature. The company has approximately 4,000 locations across more than 120 countries and provides office, co-working and meeting-space services through its global network and digital platform.
