King Negotiated One of GTA’s Largest Office Deals in 2024

Colliers’ Michael King successfully closed 48 transactions totaling 890,490 square feet during 2024.

One of the Greater Toronto Area’s largest and most strategically significant office transactions involved the University Health Network’s acquisition of the 209,853 square-foot, 15-storey 522 University Avenue (the former National Life Building) in Toronto from iA Financial Group.

This landmark off-market transaction will support the cancer program at UHN’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Toronto General Hospital. The transaction stands out not only for its size but for its impact on healthcare infrastructure, with King’s efforts assisting UHN in its growing cancer patient community.

These are some of the reasons we selected Michael King as one of Connect CRE Canada’s Top Broker Award winners for 2025. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards and transaction volumes in investment sales and leasing.
