Laflamme-Sanders Executes Firm’s Quebec Capital Markets Growth Strategy

As a principal, senior vice-president and practice lead, Marie-Claire Laflamme-Sanders develops and executes Avison Young’s capital markets growth strategy in Quebec. She conducts market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, evaluates emerging service lines, and leads transformative initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Her leadership has been instrumental in positioning the Québec capital markets team as a dominant force in the industry. Since 2016, the team has completed approximately $7.5 billion in investment volume and 800 transactions.
Laflamme-Sanders joined Avison Young in 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in commercial real estate. She spent the previous nine years at JLL, where she helped expand the firm’s capital markets team across Quebec. In her career, Laflamme-Sanders has overseen over $4 billion in investment transactions across the mult-ifamily, office, retail and industrial sectors, demonstrating her ability to deliver results in diverse asset classes.
Laflamme-Sanders is a mentor and role model, leading and nurturing the operations team within the capital markets division. She also received CoStar’s annual Top Sales Award.
