L’Équipeur Replaces Old Navy in Laurier Mall

Laurier Québec, a shopping mall in Quebec City, is set to welcome Canadian retailer L’Équipeur in the space formerly occupied by Old Navy, the Journal de Québec reported.

Old Navy, owned by U.S.-based GAP, vacated its Laurier Québec location at the end of February after deciding not to renew its lease. The space, spanning 15,990 square feet, was quickly filled, with L’Équipeur scheduled to open in fall 2025.

“This is a really interesting addition for consumers,” Donald Larose, vice-president for Quebec at JLL, told the Journal.

JLL manages the mall on behalf of its owner, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

Founded in 1977, L’Équipeur, which is owned by Canadian Tire, originally focused on work clothing, footwear, and accessories but has since expanded to offer a wide range of apparel and shoes for the entire family.
