Loverock Helps Women Advance in CRE

(Connect has handed out its third-annual Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards. This story profiles Avison Young Principal Rebekah Loverock.)

By Amy Wolff Sorter

As an Avison Young principal and the firm’s director of national operations, Rebekah Loverock oversees the company’s Canadian operations. She is also responsible for coaching, development and guidance to improve all regional operations leads across the country.

Loverock has been with Avison Young for 20 years and was awarded the Avison Young People Manager of the Year for Canada. She is also engaged in Avison Young Canada’s Learning & Development program, working closely with leadership and the company’s emerging talent to establish and implement programs.

She is the Canadian executive sponsor for Empower, which is Avison Young’s group that creates impact for women – open to all gender identities and allies. She also partners closely with the Human Resources group to help incorporate new programs and initiatives to support employees.

These are just some of the reasons why Connect Canada CRE honoured Rebekah Loverock with a 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award. The awards celebrate the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
