Mattress Retailer Endy Expands into Western Canada

Mattress retailer Endy has expanded into Western Canada with the opening of its first Edmonton location.

The new store, situated in South Edmonton Commons, marks a significant milestone for the brand as it continues its national expansion, said the company. The move coincides with the opening of a new Silk & Snow store, one of Canada’s largest retail power centres.

Both Endy and Silk & Snow fall under Sleep Country Canada’s ownership umbrella. Endy is one of Canada’s largest online mattress retailers and, like Silk & Snow, is in the early stages of shift into brick-and-mortar stores.

“Opening our first Western Canadian location in Edmonton is an exciting milestone for Endy,” said Jason Cassidy, president of Endy. “As we continue expanding our physical presence outside of Endy.com, Alberta felt like the right choice as the home of so many loyal Endy customers.

“We want to connect with the community and meet the demand for in-person experiences, inviting shoppers to see, feel and test our range of products for themselves.”

This Edmonton store is the company’s third brick-and-mortar location, following openings in Toronto in 2023 and Halifax this past October.

Endy’s move into Edmonton underscores its commitment to providing Canadians with flexible and convenient shopping options, both online and in-store, said the retailer.
