Miniso Opens New Store at CF Richmond Centre

Global lifestyle products budget retailer Miniso has opened a new flagship store in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, B.C.

Miniso leased 3,500 square feet in Cadillac Fairview’s CF Richmond Centre, one of Metro Vancouver’s busiest shopping malls, located near No. 3 Road and Westminster Highway.

Miniso sells myriad products ranging from plush toys to electronics to fashion to beauty and wellness products.

The pink-themed Richmond Centre location features 3,000 items, including blind boxes, stationery and household goods. The launch continues Miniso’s expansion across Canada.

The retailer recently opened a new store at CF’s Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Ont., and has upcoming openings scheduled Toronto’s Eaton Centre and malls across Quebec. The future launches “further demonstrate Miniso’s rapid growth,” said the company.

Miniso owns and operates stores in B.C., Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, as well as other international markets. The chain opened its first store in China in 2013.

Miniso was founded by entrepreneur Yeo Guofu, also known as Jack Ye, who serves as the company’s CEO. The retailer is based in Guangzhou, China.
