Missoni, Amexon Team Up on Toronto Fashion-Inspired Condo Tower

Italian fashion house Missoni has joined forces with Amexon Development Corporation to develop a luxury condominium tower in Toronto.

Amexon ranks among Toronto’s leading real estate developers.

Missoni aims to blend high fashion with sophisticated urban living, setting a new standard for fashion-inspired developments worldwide, the company said in a news release.

““Our creative team has come together to design bespoke luxury interiors that perfectly complement the urban surroundings.” said Livio Proli, Missoni’s CEO. “Our creative team has come together to design bespoke luxury interiors that perfectly complement the urban surroundings”

Drawing from Missoni’s artistic legacy, Missoni Sky is billed as a future fusion of bold artistic expression and modern elegance. The tower will feature Missoni’s signature geometric style, including the brand’s iconic zigzag patterns and vibrant colour palettes, woven into every detail—from expansive lobbies and rooftop terraces to exclusive residential interiors and fashion-forward amenities.

“Missoni Sky represents the successful translation of our brand’s style into an immersive living experience,” said Alberto Caliri, creative director of Missoni Home, in a news release. “This development brings Missoni’s artistic essence to life, infusing every corner of the tower with our distinctive approach.”

Missoni Sky’s design is intended to pay tribute to Missoni’s heritage, with bold colours, iconic patterns, and intricate details featured in furnishings, textiles, and wallpapers throughout the tower. Each space embodies Missoni’s aesthetic, creating a harmonious blend of beauty and function, the company said.

Interiors have been crafted by Toronto-based design studio II By IV Design.

Situated near Toronto’s King-Jarvis design district, Missoni Sky will stand as a landmark of contemporary architecture, according to Missoni.

The tower’s sleek, modern silhouette emerges from an elegant eight-storey brick podium, which will house a boutique hotel, restaurants, and luxurious residential spaces. Rising above, the glass tower offers panoramic views of Lake Ontario and beyond.

The building was designed by the award-winning CORE Architects, the building “pushes creative boundaries and sets a new standard for urban living in Toronto,” said Deni Poletti, lead architect at CORE Architects.

Missoni Sky is setting new standards in eco-conscious development, according to the Italian fashion house. Adhering to Amexon’s Green Development Standard, the tower will incorporate advanced environmental features, including EV charging stations in every parking space, reinforcing Amexon’s commitment to sustainable luxury.

“We are delighted to work with Amexon on Missoni Sky’s interior design project in Toronto, and excited to furnish the finest fabrics and designs throughout this incredible tower,” said Livio Proli, Missoni’s CEO. “Our creative team has come together to design bespoke luxury interiors that perfectly complement the urban surroundings.”

Founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, internationally Missoni is usually celebrated for its excellence in Italian fashion. If all goes according to plan, this will be a rare time when it stands out for its real estate
