Montoni Commences Construction on $25M Industrial Condo Project in GMA
Groupe Montoni has begun to construct a $25-million industrial condominium project in Mascouche, Que.
The 82,000-square-foot project is located in Mascouche’s CentrOparc business park. Mascouche is part of the Greater Montreal Area.
Montoni revealed that the development will feature 16 modern, flexible industrial units designed by Archi-Tech Design. The project will span two buildings.
Montreal-based Montoni is now offering units for sale to businesses and investors seeking turnkey ownership in a prime location.
“This opportunity to purchase a turnkey industrial condo in such a strategic, high-growth setting is truly unique,” said Dario Montoni, the company’s president, in a news release. “We are confident that this investment will help businesses develop and prosper.”
Located in the heart of CentrOparc, the industrial condos are ideally positioned in a rapidly expanding business hub, said the development company. The site offers high-level visibility and accessibility, with direct connections to highways 640 and 25 and proximity to Montreal.
CentrOparc represents a broader investment of nearly $400 million by Montoni, creating close to 1,000 jobs in Mascouche. The new industrial condos will be situated among prominent businesses such as Mondor, St-Hubert, EMJ Metals, Blanchelle, EEGT, Ménagez-Vous, Jacmar, Desjardins, and Quilicot.
Sustainability and Innovation
The project incorporates sustainability measures through Montoni’s Distinction program, designed to reduce drinking-water consumption by nearly 30% and achieve more than 15% in energy savings. The condos will offer enhanced air quality and abundant natural light, providing employees with a healthier and more stimulating work environment, said the company.
