Mouchakkaa Departs AIMCo for Crow Holdings in Dallas

Paul Mouchakkaa has left his post as head of real estate at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) to join Crow Holdings Capital (CHC) in Dallas.

Mouchakkaa had been with AIMCo since 2022, overseeing a $30-billion global real estate portfolio. He joined CHC as a senior managing director responsible for the firm’s build-to-core and core-plus investment programs and establishing new strategies.

CHC is the investment-management arm of Crow Holdings, a leading American national investment and development firm.

“Paul brings a valuable, differentiated experience from a career spent at both best-in-class global general and limited partner investment platforms that will help Crow Holdings Capital to continue to evolve and enhance its investment approach,” said Bob McClain, CEO of CHC.

Mouchakkaa’s experience includes senior positions with BGO, the California Public Employees Retirement System, Morgan Stanley and Pension Consulting Alliance.
