Nespresso Opens First Coffee Store in Halifax

Nespresso Canada has opened a new coffee store in Halifax.

The shop is the company’s first stand-alone location in Halifax and Nova Scotia. The company has taken up space in the redeveloped Halifax Shopping Centre.

The store sells a wide selection of coffee machines, coffee capsules, and accessories for all tastes and needs, and will offer coffee workshops as well as coffee and caffeinated recipe tastings. Customers will also be able to pick up online orders at a designated counter.

The store is among more than 35 boutique-style locations that the company operates across Canada.

:”With our presence from coast to coast, we were committed to connect Nespresso further with Nova Scotia coffee lovers, and we considered [it] important to enhance the experience in Halifax,” said Carlos Oyanguren, Nespresso Canada’s president, in a news release.

The global chain operates in 93 markets and works with 150,000 farmers in 18 countries through its sustainable-quality program.

The program is designed to embed sustainable practices on farms and the surrounding landscapes.
