Nespresso Reopens at Vancouver’s Oakridge Park

Nespresso has reopened its coffee shop in Vancouver’s Oakridge district on the city’s west side.

The location brought Nespresso’s latest retail boutique concept to the city as part of the redeveloped 650,000-square-foot shopping centre’s recent grand opening. The redesigned space focuses on coffee exploration, guided tastings and personalized service, with a dedicated tasting area where customers can sample coffees and receive recommendations from Nespresso specialists, said the company.

The opening was part of the redeveloped 650,000-square-foot shopping centre’s grand reopening. Oakridge Park is a joint-venture between Vancouver-based firms QuadReal Property Group and Westbank.

The boutique marks Nespresso Canada’s return to a location where it previously operated from 2016 to 2020 and is the first in Vancouver to feature the company’s newest store format.

“The reopening of our Oakridge Park boutique marks an important new chapter for Nespresso Canada in Vancouver,” said Carlos Oyanguren, president of Nespresso Canada.

“We are pleased to return to this community with a thoughtfully refreshed boutique that introduces our latest generation concept in the city, reflecting our ongoing investment in the Vancouver area and our ambition to offer a more elevated and personalized customer experience.”

The boutique also supports Nespresso’s recycling program by accepting used coffee capsules for recycling. The aluminum is repurposed while the coffee grounds are processed into compost for local farms.

Nespresso is a premium portioned-coffee company owned by Nestlé. The company works with more than 130,000 coffee farmers in 18 countries through its Nespresso Sustainable Quality program and achieved B Corp certification in 2022.
