New Food Hall to Open at Eaton Centre

A new chef-driven food hall is scheduled to open April 24 at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

The location has been dubbed Queen’s Cross Food Hall due to its proximity to the Queen subway station. The Oliver & Bonacini (O&B) concept will be located at the Cadillac Fairview-owned mall’s south end, on the lower level.

Michael Robertson, O&B corporate events chef, is overseeing the project. The 19,000-square-foot space will feature  13 unique food stalls, two rotating pop-up stalls, a bar and café, and seating for 300 guests.

Eateries will range from Swanky Bar to Babel Hummus Bar to Craig’s Cookies.

O&B is a leading Canadian hospitality group. Its portfolio includes restaurant and event venues in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton as well as Halifax in partnership with Freehand Hospitality.

Cadillac Fairview is the real estate investment arm of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. CF holds about $30 billion in assets under management and manages approximately 36 million square feet of leasable space at 69 properties across Canada.
