New Horizon, Krpan Team Up on Newrise

New Horizon Development Group (NHDG) and Krpan Group have formed a new joint-venture partnership dedicated to constructing environmentally friendly residential communities,

Newrise, as the entity is known, is committed to sustainability and environmental consciousness, say the companies. The JV will focus on projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

By focusing on green building practices and energy efficiency, Newrise will achieve high standards for sustainable development in the region, said New Horizon and Krpan in a news release.

“The creation of Newrise brings two unique sets of expertise together, expanding our ability to create lasting communities with a focus on sustainable building technologies in the GTHA,” said John Krpan, CEO of Krpan Group.

NHDG has three decades of experience developing 30 communities and counting in neighbourhoods spanning between Oakville, Beamsville, Brantford and Cambridge, including mid-, high- and low-rise multi-family buildings as well as single-family custom homes.

Founded in 1973, Krpan Group develops, builds and manages housing and commercial properties. The firm’s portfolio encompasses about 5,000 residential units, with thousands more proposed, and millions of square feet of retail and commercial properties throughout the western part of the Greater Toronto Area.
