North Van City Councillors Approve GWLRA Apartment Project

North Vancouver city council has unanimously approved GWL Realty Advisors’ multi-family development project in the central Lonsdale area.

The development site is located at 140 West 19th Street. Plans call for a six-storey building to contain 91 rental units. Amenities will include a tenant lounge, fitness centre and children’s play area.

“Thanks to its robust rental rates and low vacancy, North Vancouver remains a thriving rental hub in the Metro Vancouver area,” a GWLRA spokeswoman told Connect. “With favourable demographics and great local amenities, we are looking forward to the success of this project.”

Toronto-based GWLRA expects construction to begin during the second quarter of 2025.
