Omnia, Fiera to Develop Downtown Montreal Rental Tower

Omnia Technologies and Fiera Real Estate have plan to develop a 15-storey rental-apartment project in downtown Montreal.

Le Balt will be constructed at 333 Boulevard René-Lévesque East. Once completed, the building will feature 131 units.

The development is being designed by local architectural firms DKA and Simard, with interiors created by InnéDesign and IssaStudio. Le Balt’s architecture is described as streamlined and functional, blending timeless design with modern amenities to provide tenants with a comfortable and stylish living environment in one of Montreal’s iconic neighborhoods.

“With its timeless design, it’s a living space that will offer future tenants everything they need,” said Jean-François Beaulieu, president of Omnia. “We opted for a streamlined architecture that emphasizes functionality, design, and comfort in the heart of an iconic Montreal neighborhood.”

Le Balt’s amenities will include a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city, a fitness room, and an interior courtyard. Situated near Old Montreal, the building’s location provides easy access to public transportation and a variety of services.

“Le Balt represents an exceptional opportunity to enrich Montreal’s urban fabric and offer quality housing in the heart of the city,” said Pierre Pelletier, Fiera’s senior managing director and head of development and debt.

Omnia specializes in in large-scale residential, industrial, and commercial development projects.

Le Balt is scheduled to break ground Tuesday.
