Osmington Gerofsky Aims to Develop Two MF High-Rises Near Toronto’s Glencairn Station

Osmington Gerofsky is seeking to develop two multi-family towers near Toronto’s Glencairn subway station.

The local development company has filed a development application with the city for the site that encompasses 253-263 Viewmount Avenue and 14-18 Romar Crescent. If all goes according to plan, the towers will stand 35 and 39 storey atop a six-storey base building and include 1,055 new residential units ranging from studios to three-bedroom suites.

An eight-storey podium will connect the two towers and terraces with ground-level amenity spaces and Benner Park. The proposal also calls for Osmington Gerofsky to construct a new mid-block connection between Viewmount Avenue and Romar Crescent.

The company has also pledged to create a mid-block connection between Viewmount and Romar and dedicate parkland as part of that link. The move would expand Benner Park and provide public access from Romar.

Toronto-based Wallman Architects is designing the project for Osmington Gerofsky.
