Pop Mart Opens First Canadian Location at Richmond Centre

Global toy retailer Pop Mart has expanded into Canada through the opening of a new store in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, B.C.

The new store is located at 6551 No. 3 Road. It is the first of two locations planned soon for Vancouver, said the company.

“Canada has always been a priority for Pop Mart,” said Luis Barriento, executive vice-president of business development for the chain’s Amercas region. “We’ve seen incredible demand across social media and our e-commerce platform. This launch is about meeting that demand with immersive, in-person experiences that celebrate creativity and community.”

In addition to opening the second Vancouver location, Pop Mart plans to open a Toronto store in the near future.
