Prado Opens New Dunbar Location

Prado has opened a new coffee shop in Vancouver’s Dunbar area on the city’s west side.

The chain operates locally across Metro Vancouver and now has seven locations.

Prado has leased street-level space in Qualex-Landmark’s new Legacy on Dunbar mixed-use building. The property is situated at Dunbar Street and West 28th Avenue.

The five-storey building includes 11,613 square feet of retail space as well as condominium units, according to a Marcus & Millichap marketing booklet.

The new coffee shop opening marks a return to Dunbar for Prado owner Sammy Piccolo.

“I opened a cafe nearby about 15 years ago,” he told a Qualex-Landmark interviewer. “I instantly fell in love with the neighbourhood and the people.”
