Randi Burton is a senior associate with Colliers Edmonton, specializing in industrial sales and leasing.
During her six years in commercial real estate, she has emerged as an industry leader. Burton sits on the CREW Edmonton board, helping women advance their careers in the sector.
She represented the Edmonton chapter at CREW’s 2024 Canadian and global conventions in Vancouver and Chicago, respectively. Earlier in the year, she co-hosted a CREW session on calculated risk-taking in commercial real estate.
In addition, Burton has played a central role with CREW Edmonton’s Future Leaders program and has helped plan and organize some of the chapter’s other events. She has also been highly active with BOMA’s Edmonton chapter, speaking at a number of the group’s sessions.
Burton enjoys bridging the gap between industrial and other asset classes, as she recognizes that many retail and office tenants require spaces with loading and warehousing functionality, while industrial businesses often need high-exposure sites to attract customers. Over the course of her career, she has developed strong relationships with some of Edmonton’s leading landlords and tenants, helping them achieve their desired outcomes. She believes that accountability and high-quality work form the foundation of every successful business relationship.
Burton currently represents both landlords and tenants in leasing, provides property sales support, and offers expertise in commercial strata and condo investments. Before joining Colliers in 2021, she worked as an associate at Omada Commercial for about three years.
Before entering the CRE industry, she held positions as a club manager and coach for Nova Synchro Club, as well as an apparel buyer and visual merchandiser for Running Room in Edmonton.
She holds a bachelor of management degree from the University of Lethbridge, with a major in business and a minor in social responsibility. Additionally, she completed the Real Estate Council of ‘Alberta’s associates program in 2017, gaining a foundation in the commercial property sector.
These are just some of the reasons why Connect Canada CRE gave her a 2024 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award.
