U.S. payment-processing firm Remitly has expanded into Canada through the opening of an office in New Westminster, B.C.

The new office is located near the New Westminster waterfront along the Fraser River. Remitly described the opening as a significant milestone in the Seattle-based company’s growth and an opportunity to tap into the Vancouver region’s vibrant tech ecosystem.
