Réseau MAclinique, Fonds Break Ground on Montreal Clinic
Réseau MAclinique and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ have broken ground on a new medical facility in Montreal.
The new Complexe Santé Sault-au-Récollet clinic will help meet the area’s primary healthcare needs, the organizations said in a news release.
The 90,000-square-foot complex will be home to MAclinique Sault-au-Récollet, which will house 25 family doctors and public-sector specialists, and paramedical professionals, starting in 2025.
The project is located at the corner of Boulevard Pie IX and Fleury Street. Architecture firm BCP is designing the project and Laval, Que.-based Consoltec is building it.
An intermediate residence with more than 195 rooms will also be built adjacent to the medical complex, in partnership with the Quebec government’s Integrated University Health and Social Services Center of the North Island of Montreal.
Amenities will include about 10,000 sf of common space, including: A private gym for employees, collaborative spaces, conference rooms, private lounge and public auditorium; indoor parking with electric-vehicle charging stations and bike rooms.
Quebec City-based Réseau MAclinique aims to improve access to non-institutional healthcare in Quebec by developing high-quality medical clinics for practitioners and their staff. The company has built three similar complexes, in Québec City’s Lebourgneuf district, Saguenay and Lévis.
“Our complexes are true health destinations for patients, enabling them to access various primary services under one roof,” said Chantal Guimont, a partner physician and the company’s president.
“They also offer exceptional working environments for health professionals.”
The Montreal-based Fonds ranks among Quebec’s largest institutional investors.
