Schneider Electric Launches Smart Buildings Division
Schneider Electric has launched a Canadian smart buildings division designed to shape the future of commercial and industrial property design, operations and maintenance.
Mississauga, Ont.-based Schneider Electric Canada said the new division marks an evolution of the company’s digital buildings business and will accelerate owners and operators’ decarbonization and sustainability goals.
“Through our smart buildings division in Canada, we’re set to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort,” said Emily Heitman, president of Schneider Electric Canada, in a news release. “Our goal is to empower building owners and operators to create smarter, more efficient spaces for a sustainable future.”
Schneider says the smart building division will provide:
- Enhanced energy efficiency by optimizing energy consumption to achieve cost savings and reduced environmental impact;
- Seamless automation through harmonious environments in which lighting, HVAC, security systems, and other components combine to optimize comfort and efficiency;
- Proactive maintenance by leveraging predictive analytics and remote monitoring;
- Occupant well-being by prioritizing occupant comfort with personalized settings, indoor air quality monitoring, and intuitive interfaces that enhance overall experience, and;
- Data-driven insights by furnishing valuable data analytics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement of building performance.
