Secure Waste Infra Closes on $300M Senior Notes Offering

Secure Waste Infrastructure has completed its $300-million private-placement senior unsecured notes offering, the company announced.

Calgary-based Secure issued the notes at a price of $1,000 per $1,000 principal of the notes, representing a yield of 5.75%

The offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters as BMO Capital Markets and National Bank Capital Markets acted as joint bookrunners. ATB Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Markets, RBC Dominion Securities, Scotia Capital, and TD Securities served as co-lead managers, while Raymond James and Stifel Nicolaus Canada were co-managers.

Secure plans to use the net proceeds to repay existing indebtedness under the company’s secured revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes. Earlier this year, Secure increase to its senior secured revolving credit facility’s total capacity to $900 million from $800 million and extended the maturity date to May 31, 2028.

Secure is a leader in waste management and energy infrastructure. With a network spanning Western Canada and North Dakota, the company operates waste-processing and transfer facilities, industrial landfills, metal-recycling centers, and pipelines and terminals for crude oil and water.

Its services help reduce costs, lower emissions, and support environmental stewardship across the energy and industrial sectors.
