JLL has been selected by Siemens Healthineers to deliver integrated facilities management services across a 5.3 million-square-foot real estate portfolio spanning Canada and 32 U.S. states.
Under the mandate, JLL will oversee a mix of office, research and development, laboratory and biomanufacturing facilities. The properties’ specific locations were not disclosed.
JLL’s life-sciences division will manage a broad range of services, including building engineering, café operations, electrical and HVAC maintenance, fire-and-life-safety systems, janitorial and landscaping services, as well as reception, mailroom and waste-management functions.
The services will be delivered through an integrated model that incorporates strategic sourcing, finance and business intelligence to govern operations. JLL said the approach is designed to improve efficiency and provide Siemens Healthineers with flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions.
As part of the contract, JLL is deploying engineering programs and technology solutions aimed at enhancing operational insight, reducing costs and improving resilience across the portfolio.
The JLL team will be led by Pam Paddock, a managing director, and Account Executive Michael Lee, with support from Joe Daufenbach, executive-director of solutions development.
“Siemens recognized our extensive experience in the medical-device industry and global alignment capabilities for seamless service delivery, and we are committed to providing them with innovative and quality services,” said Kevin Wayer, head of JLL’s global life-sciences division.
Headquartered in Germany, Siemens headquartered in Germany, operates in more than 180 countries and focuses on imaging, diagnostics, cancer care and minimally invasive therapies. In fiscal 2025, the company reported revenue of approximately €23.4 billion and employed about 74,000 people worldwide.
