Simons Opens Doors to First Urban Toronto Store

Simons has opened its first urban Toronto store.

Comprising 118,000 square feet, the store site is located at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. The store is the chain’s first of two urban-Toronto fashion outlets locations that the fashion retailer intends to open. Simons has not divulged plans for the second site.

The Yorkdale location is part of a broader investment of nearly $100 million in the Greater Toronto Area. The company said it will offer 400 new employment opportunities across the region.

The Yorkdale opening gives expands the Simons footprint to 18 stores across Canada.
