Skyservice Acquires Vancouver Airport Hangar
Skyservice Business Aviation has expanded its footprint at Vancouver International Airport by acquiring the London Aviation Centre hangar.
The Mississauga, Ont.-based charter airline and aircraft maintenance company purchased the hangar from London Aviation. Skyservice had already operated at YVR.
The acquired facility gives Skyservice an additional 12,000 square feet of office space and 64,000 sf of hangarage equipped with 44′ hangar doors that can accommodate jetliners such as the Boeing 737 BBJ MAX and Airbus ACJ series aircraft, the company said in a news release.
“We firmly believe the expansion at Vancouver airport, built on our foundation of safety and service excellence, is a crucial element in meeting the region’s growing business aviation needs,” Benjamin Murray, Skyservice’s president and CEO, said in the news release.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
