St. Hubert to Invest $50M in New Restaurants, Renovations

St-Hubert Group is launching a $50-million investment plan aimed at modernizing and expanding its operations by 2026.

The initiative includes upgrading existing restaurants, opening new locations, and enhancing its food-production facilities in Quebec.

Approximately $40 million will be directed toward the renovation of about 20 restaurants and the opening of nine new establishments, bringing 70% of the company’s rotisserie network up to modern standards. Among the upcoming openings are flagship locations at Carrefour Laval in Laval, Que., and Montreal’s Place Bonaventure, alongside new sites in Anjou, Lachenaie, Joliette, Chibougamau, Richelieu, and Quebec City.

St-Hubert specializes in chicken delicacies.

St-Hubert is also investing more than $11 million to upgrade its Boisbriand and Blainville food manufacturing plants. These upgrades include new equipment and production lines to boost output and efficiency, supporting the launch of 90 new food products this year across its various brands.

A new research and development centre is also in the works in Boisbriand, backed by a $650,000 investment. The facility is expected to be completed in 2025 and will support continued innovation in food production.

This expansion comes as St-Hubert prepares to mark its 75th anniversary.
