St. Louis Bar and Grill Expands to P.E.I.
Canadian franchisor St. Louis Bar and Grill will expand to Prince Edward Island through a Charlottetown opening.
Saltwire reported that franchisees Nick Hennessy and Matthew Hill will open a 3,500-square-foot location in Royalty Power Centre. Construction is slated to begin within weeks.
Founded in Sudbury, Ont., in 2002, St. Louis Bar & Grill has franchise locations across Canada. Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest province.
Hennessey owns and manages commercial and residential real estate in Charlottetown through his family’s company. He previously worked at a family-owned Source for Sports business, which was sold in 2020.
“That was my only job for 15 years,” Hennessey told Saltwire. “I’ve been looking to get back involved in another business and this opportunity came up with [Hill] and it looked like a great fit.”
St. Louis Bar & Grill’s corporate representatives have told Saltwire that the chain is interested in opening another Charlottetown-area location in Stratford, P.E.I.
