Starlight Investments is selling a 26-property Canadian multi-family real estate portfolio.

The assets are currently listed for sale, a company spokeswoman told Connect.

The properties are located in eight Ontario and B.C. markets and comprise 2,643 rental units. Toronto-based Starlight has retained TD Cornerstone Commercial Realty and CIBC WM Real Estate to facilitate the sale.

Most of the units are located in secondary markets, with the exceptions of Toronto, including its suburb of Mississauga, and North Vancouver, which is part of the Metro Vancouver marketplace.

The Toronto component covers 12 properties with 775 units altogether, while the Mississauga portion includes two properties comprising 324 suites. The North Vancouver segment has one property with 57 units.

The remaining properties are located in the Ontario cities of Hamilton, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph as well as Nanaimo, B.C.
