Stellantis Sells 32-Acre Industrial Parcel Beside Brampton Plant
Automaker Stellantis has sold a 32-acre industrial development land parcel beside one of its manufacturing facilities in the Toronto suburb of Brampton, Ont.
Avison Young announced that it facilitated the sale of the property at 2000 Williams Parkway. Sanjiv Chadha and Jeff Flemington, who are principals of Avison Young, acted as exclusive advisors and agents for Stellantis.
The Amsterdam-based giant (formerly known as Chrysler), ranks among the world’s Big Three automakers. The buyer and financial terms were not disclosed.
“This sale exemplifies the growing demand for well-positioned industrial land and the importance of aligning real estate decisions with long-term business strategies,” said Flemington.
Such sales often point to future projects that purchasers have already planned extensively.
The infill site is located in a region known for its skilled industrial and manufacturing workforce, making it a valuable opportunity for industrial development, Avison Young noted. The sale process involved severance approval, marketing, bidding, and contract execution.
Avison Young said the sale noted that the transaction reinforces the Greater Toronto Area’s standing as one of North America’s strongest industrial markets.
“Industrial investment in the province and the region remains resilient relative to other asset classes,” said Avison Young.
