Tesla Developing Largest N.A. Dealership in Vancouver

Tesla is developing its largest North American electric-vehicle dealership in Vancouver.

Texas-based Tesla has tapped Beedie Group, a large developer based in the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby, to construct the build-to-suit project. The future 120,000-square-foot auto centre will be located at a former General Paint warehouse site on Raymur Avenue near Venables Street in the Strathcona district.

“We have often collaborated with innovative companies on unique, built-to-suit projects and we look forward to working closely with Tesla and the local community in the coming years,” said Ryan Beedie, president of Beedie Group, in a statement.

Construction is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2023 with completion scheduled for 2026.
