Tiffany, Rolex Among Global Jewellers Coming to Oakridge

Several big-name global jewellers, including Tiffany and Rolex, will open stores at Vancouver’s redeveloped Oakridge shopping centre.

Tiffany is returning to the site, which is undergoing an overhaul that has sparked numerous other commercial real estate investments in the Oakridge area.

Rolex is collaborating with Vancouver-based Global Watch Company on a 6,000-square-foot boutique. Meanwhile, Rome-based Bvlgari will open its first stand-alone store in the city.

Other jewellers slated to lease spaces at Oakridge include:

  • Chaumet. The Parisian luxury jeweller will debut its first stand-alone store in North America at Oakridge. The company will also produce the medals for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
  • Chow Tai Fook. The firm has been recognized globally for its Chinese artistry and culture.
  • David Yurman. The American luxury jewelry company will open its first stand-alone store in Vancouver as it expands its retail footprint.
  • Jacob & Company. The New York-based luxury watchmaker will establish its largest store in Western North America and its first stand-alone boutique in Canada at the redeveloped retail centre.
  • TAG Heuer. The Swiss watchmaker, which was founded in 1860, will also open its first stand-alone store in Vancouver at Oakridge.
  • Tudor. Another Swiss watch brand, Tudor will open a second boutique location in Vancouver as part of another collaboration involving Global Watch Company

“Vancouver is cementing its status as a premier global retail experience with the introduction of these iconic brands at Oakridge Park,” said Chrystal Burns, executive vice-president of Canadian retail at QuadReal Property Group, in a news release.

QuadReal co-owns Oakridge Park with Westbank.

The announcement on the jewellers’ impending arrival came after Vancouver-based QuadReal and Westbank revealed that Louis Vuitton, Prada and Brunello Cucinelli, among others, will bring their big-name women’s fashion brands to the revamped retail centre.

And, Maison Margiela, Miu Miu, Christian Louboutin and Alexander Wang will open stand-alone fashion boutiques.

A five-year project, Oakridge Park is slated to open in 2025.
